Biggest Loser Finale Doesn’t Disappoint

The Biggest Loser Finale aired last night, ending this season of my #1 reality show.  I think Alison Sweeney did a great job of filling out the 2 hour show.   I was excited to see how all of this years contestants did after they left the show.  Plus, that $100,000 was up for grabs!  And who would be the Biggest Loser this year and take home that $250,000 prize?. 

Well, here is how it all went down.  Amber, the paramedic, lost a total of 84 pounds. Leszlye followed, losing 55 pounds, which was great, but Amber still had the higher overall percentage.  She was knocked off though by Jerry, who lost an amazing 110 pounds!  Next was Patty, who lost 64 pounds.  Jerry was still in place to win, until Jim came and showed off his incredible 186 pound weight loss! Next was Phil who lost 145 pounds.  Jez went next with 150 pounds dropped.  David lost 140 pounds and Ryan dropped 133 after him, but Jim was still on top.

The final group really looked like they might challenge Jim’s overall percentage loss.  Amy dropped 126 pounds, but that wasn’t enough.  Kae lost an amazing 128 pounds, but that wasn’t enough. Bryan lost 122 pounds and Nicole dropped 105, but neither could beat Jim overall.  The drama was intense as Neil who looked like he lost 3 people, stepped up to the scale.  He dropped an amazing 211 pounds, which was only 5 pounds less than what he needed to beat Jim, making Jim the winner of the at home weight loss competition!

Could the twins take home all the cash?  Turned out that way as even though Isabeau lost 133, Hollie lost 150, and Julie dropped 97, Bill’s 164 pound weight loss made him this season’s Biggest Loser!  Big congratulations to both Bill and Jim for wining, and to all the contestants for their inspirational wight loss achievements.
